$25,000 Matching Gift Challenge thru September 22

Things are really heating up for the women of The Enterprising Kitchen this summer! We hired a former participant to head our outside corporate and incentive sales markets and found permanent jobs for five women in the month of May. One of these women was Audrey.

After being homeless, Audrey came to The Enterprising Kitchen to learn additional job skills as she pulled her life together. Unlike other job training programs, we hire participants so they can make ends meet and support their families as they complete the program. While with us, Audrey was able to complete a technical training program and received her forklift license. She was able to develop her job readiness skills through our expanded network of volunteers who assist us with resume writing, conducting mock interviews and credit clean-up. Upon graduation, Audrey became employed full-time as a Team Leader in a renewable energy manufacturing company. "I have this overwhelming sense of pride in my work and my ability to provide for my family thanks to The Enterprising Kitchen."

To help other motivated women like Audrey, Harris Bank and The Enterprising Kitchen's Board of Directors, Associates Board, Staff and special friends have spearheaded a $25,000 Matching Gift Challenge and we need your help!

Currently, only 30% of our program costs are covered by the sale of our all natural soap, spa products and gift baskets. That's why your donation today is so incredibly important. From now until September 22, we'll double your impact.

If you donate $35 to teach 1 participant how to retrieve their credit report and take the necessary steps to clean up their credit, we'll match it and make sure 2 women can start their journey to a brighter future.
If you donate $100 to send 1 participant to a 9-week computer class, we'll match your donation and send a second participant.
If you donate $500 for 1 participant to go through our program for 15 days, we'll ensure she will receive job training skills for an entire month thanks to you!
